Taylor's V-Class bracing is a wonderful compliment to the cedar and mahogany of the 514ce. Mahogany and cedar make for a warm and dark guitar, and the V-Class bracing adds back a healthy midrange presence, some sparkle up top and lots of sustain.
Mahogany back and sides, Western red cedar top with V-class bracing, tortoise-celluloid binding, rosette and soundhole binding, and matching pickguard. Ivoroid inlays, gloss finish, ebony bridge and fingerboard, Expression System II electronics. 1-3/4” nut, 25.5” scale.
