2004 Nuhn F-5

With its black finish and white bindings, this Nuhn F-5 style mandolin is a catchy-looking instrument. Built in 2004 here in Kitchener-Waterloo, this F-5 is a well made, well priced, good sounding mandolin with great playability. It features standard F5 construction details, with carved spruce and maple plates, bound ebony fingerboard, scroll peghead, with w-b-w bindings and super 400 style inlays, and a bound ebony pickguard. Gold hardware throughout, ebony adjustable bridge with bone top, and a K&K pickup as a bonus. Frets are EVO and show no wear, and the lacquer finish is in very good shape. 1-1/8” nut width, 13-7/8” scale. Recently set up with standard action.

A very fine sounding F5, this Nuhn offers the chance to own a high-quality luthier-built instrument at the price of an offshore one. And with a Calton case thrown in for good measure!
