2012 Collings OM2H
An eight-year-old Collings OM2H that remains in near-perfect condition. The guitar shows almost no playwear to its finish or frets and has recently been set up here at Folkway. It was built with a custom 1-23/32” nut width (that’s right in between 1-11/16” and 1-3/4”) but is otherwise a standard model with Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides.
Scalloped braces, ebony fingerboard and bridge, herringbone trim and accents, ivoroid bindings, tortoise celluloid rosette, bone nut and saddle, unslotted ebony bridge pins, Waverly tuning machines, and gloss lacquer finish throughout.
A strong and strident rosewood OM that has plenty of low end rumble and mid-range power, this guitar takes a flatpick really well as it does a careful fingerstyle attack.
With original hardshell case.
