Taylor Builder's Edition 717 WHB

Heralding a new direction in tone for Taylor, the Grand Pacific has a seasoned voice that's comfortably rooted in a traditional sound, and then infused with some Taylor bass and sparkle to offer a wider musical range. It's a slope shouldered dreadnought outfitted with V-Class bracing, which together lend to plenty of low-end warmth, smoothness across the strings, and plenty of sustain.

The Builder's Edition 717 WHB Grand Pacific features back and sides of Indian rosewood, a torrefied spruce top with a Western Honey Sunburst, chamfered body edges and silent satin finish. The neck has a unique compound carve that's much rounder, deeper, and fuller in the hand than what most Taylor players will be used to, and the fingerboard has rolled edges to offer extra comfort and a vintage-like feel. The bridge carve has been modified as well and offers players a smoother feel against their hand without any sharp corners to detract from the playing experience. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Sapele bindings, and mother of pearl accents. ES2 pickup system.
