1993 Marc Beneteau Acoustic Bass

Luthier-made acoustic basses aren’t the most common thing around here, but we’re sure are excited by this Marc Beneteau jumbo-bodied 4 string. It’s a wonderfully loud and open-sounding bass, with excellent projection and presence. Suffice to say that it’s rare to find an acoustic bass that actually sounds good, but this is thankfully one of them.

16-1/4” small Jumbo body with a 3-piece mahogany back, Sitka spruce top, Pao Ferro fingerboard and bridge, maple bindings and neck.

34” scale, 1.5” nut width, 2-1/4” string spread at the bridge. Neck joins the body at the 16th fret.

In excellent condition with no repairs other than a 1” side crack and some minor dings, dents and scratches on the finish.

With hardshell case
