The latest evolution to the 814ce, Taylor's Next Generation series takes the company's flagship Grand Auditorium model to new heights.
Featuring scalloped V-class bracing and Taylor's Action Control neck, the Next Gen 814ce delivers an enhanced low end response with enriched overtone support and more headroom than its predecessor. The Action Control neck is the most easily adjustable and precisely made neck that Taylor has designed to date, allowing for action adjustments to be made on the fly. Outfitted with Taylor's Claria System Electronics, a newly designed under-saddle piezo pickup, the Next Generation 814ce offers a consistent amplified voice that is open, clear and natural.
GA body with rounded Venetian cutaway, Indian rosewood back and sides matched with a Sitka top, maple bindings with rosewood purflings, bound soundhole with pearl rosette.
Nut width of 1-3/4” and 25.5” scale. Stripey figured ebony fingerboard, compensated Tusq saddle, ebony/pearl pins, rosewood pickguard. Protein glues used throughout, and a super-thin finish.
