A beguiling guitar, this twelve-fret 000 has a rich and complex voice, coloured with beautiful overtones and expressive subtleties. It's had 25 years to open up and mature, and has become a remarkable sounding instrument with glorious sustain and piano-like clarity.

Indian rosewood back and sides, scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top. Herringbone top purflings, zigzag back strip, ivoroid bindings, small rectangular ebony bridge with drop-in saddle, and beveled edge pickguard. The balance of the guitar’s purflings are a mix of expertly mitred wood and celluloid. Ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard and headstock, SCGC pearl inlay, vintage-style tuners with ivoroid buttons.

Rounded V neck carve with 1-3/4" nut width and a 1st fret depth of .879”. 25.4" scale and 2-3/16” string spread at the saddle. Bone nut and compensated saddle, abalone-dot bone bridge pins.

The guitar is in near-perfect condition with next to no scratches, dings, or dents; however there was a top crack a half-inch to the left of the fretboard that was repaired in our shop. The crack follows a weak grain line - which is visible on the other side of the top’s book-match - and is of no concern if the guitar isn’t left to dry out. The frets show almost no playwear and the guitar has been set-up in our shop.

A special guitar with beautiful tone, a fabulous neck carve, and gorgeous workmanship.

With original hardshell case.
