Hand-built by Warren Murfitt in Vancouver, British Columbia, Murfitt Guitars offer a variety of models which can be heavily customized to fit a player's needs. The Fircaster model draws inspiration from the Thinline Telecaster guitars produced in the late 1960s, and each guitar is produced from a single slab of old-growth Douglas Fir.

A finely built Thinline guitar that has developed an attractive patina over the last two and a half decades, this c.2000 Fircaster is an exciting and refreshing option in the world of T-style guitars.

Featuring a hand-carved Indian rosewood neck with a mid '50s inspired soft V carve, this Tele-style guitar delivers an immensely comfortable, natural, and uninhibited playing experience. The pair of Pickup Wizard Tele pickups delivers incredible vintage-voiced tones. Expect classic Tele clarity and bite with full-bodied mid-range support in the bridge, and warm, open tones with excellent note definition from the neck.

A well-loved guitar that has seen many hours of play time, this Murfitt FirCaster shows dents, chips, and pickwear in the thin Nitrocellulose finish. Light fret wear in the first seven frets does not negatively impact playability.

Scale length of 25.5". First fret depth of 0.898", twelfth fret depth of 0.936", and a 1-5/8" nut width. Pickup DC readings of 7.9K the neck and 12.5K in the bridge. Weight: 6 lbs 6oz.

With gigbag.
