1990 Gibson Les Paul Standard

The term "near mint" isn't something that we like to use lightly here at Folkway Music, but this 36-year-old Les Paul Standard is just that. This 1990 Les Paul Standard is in like-new condition apart from a nearly indiscernible finish blemish just above the bridge pickup ring, light tarnishing on the nickel plating of the tailpiece, and a few surface-level scratches on the back caused by clothing fabric. Playwear is otherwise nonexistent, and the original full-height frets are perfect.

A fine example of a Les Paul Standard from Gibson's Nashville plant, this 1990 build is an excellent guitar that pays homage to the Sunburst Les Pauls of the late 1950s. The guitar's Cherry Sunburst finish over a plain top gives the instrument a timeless aesthetic. Playability is excellent on account of the full neck carve, which resembles those found on 1968-1969 Les Pauls. Equipped with a pair of original Tim Shaw humbuckers, the guitar offers PAF-inspired tones that are full-bodied and dynamic with beautiful harmonic content in the top end.

Scale length of 24.75", nut width of 1-11/16", 1st fret depth of 0.793", and 12th fret depth of 1.006". Pickup DC values of 7.2K in the neck and 13.3K in the bridge. weight of 9lbs 10oz.
