1952-l-4c-natural-4497
1952 L-4c Natural
Gibson’s natural finished 16” L-4c is a stunning acoustic archtop with a warm and full voice, excellent mid range support through the trebles, and a strong fundamental presence that makes it excel at single-note melodic runs. Combined with its exceptional playability and perfect neck feel, this guitar is a tough one to beat. That it’s in fabulous condition is the cherry on top.

A crack-free guitar with no repairs other than fairly recent new frets and bone nut by our shop, this L-4c’s faults are hard to find. A few scratches on the top’s finish and some finish flaking off the headstock face are about all we can write about. We’ve fit the bridge base to the top, and have set the guitar up with D’Addario 12-53 nickel-bronze roundwound strings, which compliment it nicely.

Carved Sitka spruce top with tonebar bracing and sharp Florentine cut-away.
