When introduced in 1961, the R-12R Reverberocket was the very first production amplifier to boast on board reverb, or "Echo" as Ampeg labeled it. Today those original Reverberockets are classics on the vintage amplifier market, and a favorite of Jazzers and Rockabillies alike. This one is in excellent condition, and is completely original. It has not been serviced ever, and with the obvious exception of its non-functional tremolo, it sounds like it's fine without. Original Ampeg branded tubes, original CTS 12" Alnico speaker; original blue check vinyl covering, grill cloth, and handle. At 15 watts, the Reverberocket has often been considered an able substitute for Fender's Princeton Reverb, and while we might have a little to say about that, we think it's a pretty darn good sounding tube combo for the cash.
SOLD
