In building this guitar, Beneteau combined his concert body and extra depth (it tapers from 4-3\/4\" at the endpin to 4-1\/4\" at the neck joint) to create a modern instrument with Nick Lucas style warmth, overtone and woodiness. There are a few dings and dents here and there, and a small patch of lacquer-melt on the neck (behind the 6th fret) from a vinyl strap or stand.
