The plates are masterfully and evenly carved in the traditional pattern; and the instrument features a rich Cremona nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It is in excellent condition and unmodified but for a scoop in the fingerboard extension. It has developed a rich voice, with clear projection, articulation and sustain.
