Built in Hamilton, Ontario by luthier George Furlanetto, the Hammertone Octave 12 string Electric has become a thing of cult-like status thanks to how cool they are, and how difficult they are to come by.  This two-pickup example features a Hammertone Green finish, maple neck, kluson tuners, and chrome hardware.  It plays perfectly and has been set-up in our shop.  The instrument is in nearly-new condition, and doesn't appear to have been played very much.  Unworn frets, no finish damage or dings.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nThe instrument plays much like a mandolin, but with two extra pairs of strings and guitar tuning, it's quite accessible to us guitar players.  It adds a real great dynamic to a recording or live show.\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\r\nWith padded gigbag\r\n\r\n","brand":"HAMMERTONE","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53610537484654,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0979\/3660\/5550\/files\/Hammertone-0912-main.jpg?v=1790964857","url":"https:\/\/folkwaymusic.com\/products\/2000-hammertone-octave-12-string-1542","provider":"Folkway Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
