Heck, it even features a premium figured maple top under that gold paint! Leave it to Collings…

A fabulous sounding guitar, with hot and fat humbuckers that read 7.9k and 8.4k, and a weight that’s nice and light at 7lbs 15oz. The neck has a deep/fat/round ’59-ish carve that’s .895” at the 1st fret and .970” at the 9th. Nut width is 1-11/16, scale is 24-7/8”.

Overall in excellent condition, this CL shows very little playwear to its frets and finish. There is slight oxidation to its pickup covers, but its only real flaw is a chip on the top edge of the back of the headstock. Such is life.

Set up here at Folkway with standard 4-5 64ths action and 10-46 strings.

With original Ameritage hardshell case

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0979/3660/5550/files/1648156021335011CollingsCLGold-0322-2Main.jpg?v=1790970068
