2014-lakewood-m-32-cp-5241
2014 Lakewood M-32 CP
Lakewood guitars have been crafted in Giessen, Germany by a small-shop team of luthiers led by the company’s founder, Martin Seeliger, since 1986. Their instruments are tastefully appointed and cleanly made and feature master-grade tonewoods, excellent fretwork and contemporary feel. This M-32CP features an X braced European top and Indian rosewood back and sides, wooden bindings and purflings, pearl and rosewood rosette, ebony board and bridge, gold hardware, and a factory-intalled LR Baggs Anthem pickup system. The M body shape is 15.5” wide and 4-5/8” deep at the endpin and falls somewhere between a Taylor GC and and GA body in proportions. The neck features a 650mm scale (25.6”), rounded D carve, 1-23/32” nutwidth, and a 1st fret depth of .835”.

A balanced and cleanly voiced guitar, the Lakewood M-32 is well designed for fingerstyle and mid-weight strumming. It’s stage-ready with its onboard pickup, and allows comfortable access to its upper frets with its flush-heel cutaway.

This example is in beautiful condition and has just been through our shop for set-up. Playwear is minimal, with light fingernail marks where a pickguard would otherwise be and just a touch of wear to the frets under the B and E strings.

And an interesting tidbit – Lakewood was the first line of new guitars Folkway ever carried, way back in 2001.

With original hardshell case
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0979/3660/5550/files/173827596337472014_Lakewood_M32CP-0125-2Main.jpg?v=1790971936
