It's unique among Martins in that it brings some vintage Gibson tonality into the equation, but is still very much a Martin.  There's something about the curvy L-00 shape that brings Gibson-like mid-range into the Martin equation.  It's an amazingly balanced, rounded and full sounding instrument.
