It’s an Indian rosewood and Sitka boomer, built with forward-shifted scalloped bracing, a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and pre-WWII herringbone style 28 inspired appointments. An attractive guitar, the TD-R features a celluloid and wood rosette, short-pattern diamonds and squares inlays, herringbone purflings and a zig-zag back strip.

This example is in excellent condition and has been set-up here at Folkway.
