It’s delightful to play thanks to its comfortably small size and beguiling voice; there’s much more bass response and acoustic resonance than this 13.5” wide guitar’s size might suggest.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe AA features an X-braced spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Like most of our other Iris models, we’ve ordered this one with a sunburst top, ivoroid bindings, and simplified headstock logo. The open-pore finish is thin and beautifully applied, and the guitar’s firestripe pickguard is suggestive of the Kalamazoo-made tenors of the early 1930s from which the AA model takes inspiration.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSoft V neck carve with 1-3\/16” nut and 1st fret thickness of .815”. 16” fretboard radius, 23” scale.
