Inspired by the L-00 models built by Gibson in 1933, the MS-00 features similar dimensions and scale length to an L-00 made between 1933 and 1942 but is built with Iris’ unique top bracing that mixes scalloped tone bars and straight X brace for a perfect mix of warmth and power. These instruments are sonically the closest cousins to a 1933 L-00 that are currently being manufactured.

Built with a red spruce top and bracing, solid linings, wide bridge string spacing, a comfortably chunky rounded vintage carve, and a scale length of 24.75” the MS features a suite of design elements that are unique to this model among Iris guitars. The MS-00 is finished in a beautiful sunburst satin lacquer and features ivoroid bindings, firestripe pickguard, and vintage-style three-on-a-plate open-geared tuners.

With plenty of power across the strings, excellent bass-end presence, thick, round, and forward trebles, and a perfect balance between fundamental and overtones, this MS-00 is giving some of our vintage L-00s a run for their money!

With hardshell case.

Individual instruments may vary in appearance.

**USD Price includes Shopify fees
