Sitka spruce top with forward shifted scalloped bracing, Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge. By all accounts, the D-42 is a D-45 from the front, but without the extensive and expensive side and back pearl inlays. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nModified low oval neck with a 1-3\/4” nutwidth and performing artist fretboard taper which sets the strings at a comfortable 2-5\/32” spread at the saddle.
