2010 Breedlove American Series 000-SM
This all-solid, American made, scalloped-braced 000 is hard to fault, especially when you consider its low price tag. The guitar sounds remarkably good for an instrument three times its price and is finely built and finished.
Sapele back and sides, Sitka spruce top, rosewood fingerboard and pyramid bridge, mahogany 12 fret neck. Gloss finished top, pearl rosette and vintage style pickguard; black body and fingerboard binding. Satin finished back, sides, and neck, nickel Grover Sta-tite tuners, pearl headstock logo; bone nut and compensated saddle. 1-3/4" nut, 25.5" scale, round neck carve.
Warm, open 12 fret voice; strong, round trebles with woody basses and mids. A very fine fingerstyle guitar, and a surprisingly good flatpicker, too. Stage-ready with a K&K pickup.
