A seriously happening Fender Custom Shop ’54 Telecaster Heavy Relic, this blonde beauty features an extra-chunky ’54 U neck with big frets and a vintage compound radius, hand-wound Loaded ’51 NoCaster pickups, a heavily worn finish, and a lightweight two-piece ash body. It’s an incredible sounding guitar with plenty of body resonance and a to-die-for neck carve. It remains in heavy-relic mint condition, with next to no fretwear and has been thoroughly set up in our shop.
NoCaster blond lacquer finish that’s heavily aged and completely worn off the back of the neck. 5-hole lacquered pickguard, heavily knurled dome knobs, vintage style bridge with uncompensated brass saddles. Riftsawn maple neck with 7.25”-9.5” compound radius and 47/95 vintage medium fretwire. Deep and round carve with 1st fret thickness of .950” and 12th fret thickness of .975”.
The ’51 NoCaster pickups measure 7.7k and 9.2k, and are modern wired. The neck is warm and thick, and the bridge is twangy and bright, offering up classic Tele tones. The guitar weighs in at 7.3lbs and is perfectly balanced.
