1957 Supro Ranchero

The Supro Ranchero is a 16” full depth acoustic archtop with a floating high-output single coil pickup and a 50’s Valco bolt-on neck. It’s a throaty, dark, and soulful raw and rootsy blues guitar that shakes the front end of a ragged old tube amp just the right way. About the furthest thing from a Telecaster, this guitar does its own thing, and does it right.

Nothing fancy going on, but it’s a great looking guitar with high coolness points. Sunburst, original Valco-issue pickguard, tuners, and bridge; deep C-shaped neck with rolled-and-rounded feel, and small vintage size frets on a tightly radiused rosewood board. Short 24.75” scale, 1-5/8” nut width.

It’s in good condition, with frets that play cleanly and a perfect set up. Minor finish flaking here and there, but overall it’s a quite clean.
