2010 Fender Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster Relic

A uniquely cool one-off custom-spec’d Fender Custom Shop Telecaster that combines vintage features with a modern contoured body and player features.

At the base of this build is a weight-sorted alder body with closet-classic aged black nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The guitar’s Strat-like body contours help keep the total weight down to a flat 7.0 lbs while adding a comfort that most tele players only dream of. The guitar’s neck has fender’s 10/56 V carve, with a thickness of .880” at the first fret and .990” at the 12th, a curved fingerboard of dark Madagascar rosewood, and modern 6105 frets at a 9.5” radius.

The Fender Custom Shop ’63 Telecaster pickups have a relic finish and are wired with modern circuitry. Eight hole, three-ply black pickguard, vintage style bridge with intonated brass saddles, 60’s control knobs and top-hat switch, Kluson tuners, single vintage-style string tree and custom-shop decal.

The guitar plays gorgeously and is perfectly set up. The frets show almost no wear, and the guitar is 100% original factory stock and untouched.

Original hardshell case that’s filled with all the original case candy and Fender COA.
