2019 Glendale Custom Telecaster Lefty

For the last 20 or so years, Glendale Guitars has provided the best after-market replacement parts for Tele players all over the world. Less commonly seen are their hand-made Telecasters, which are (of course) assembled with a collection of high-performance Glendale parts and plenty of vintage Tele design thought. This Custom Tele is based on Glendale’s Retro Blackguard design, but features a two-tone sunburst, lightweight Paulowina body, red tortoise pickguard, Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, one piece flame maple ‘Mastershape” neck with rosewood fingerboard that’s fretted with 6105 wire at 9.5” radius, and tips the scales at a shockingly light 5.65 lbs. It might be the lightest left-handed Telecaster in existence!

The bridge is a Glendale double-cut plate in nickel, fitted with a Glendale brass saddle set. The aluminum/brass string ferrules and milled jack cup are also Glendale issue, as are the electronics, including the pickups and paper & oil tone cap.

It’s a seriously fun Tele to play, with a ton of acoustic resonance and a super-fast feeling neck. And it’s shockingly light.

With custom G&G hardshell case and original COA.
