c.1970 Raven

In near-mint condition, this early 70’s Aria-built Raven thinline hollowbody is among the coolest vintage Japanese-made guitars we’ve had in the store. Its vibrato tailpiece offers some of the most supple and expressive action we’ve felt, and the guitar’s single-coil pickups are breathy and bright, which complements the tailpiece dreamily. It’s in perfect working order, beautifully set up, and has a great feeling and playing neck. The frets show very slight wear and play cleanly.

Compact neck feel, 1-9/16” nut width, 24.75” scale. Hollow body with laminate construction, lots of tortoise-celluloid and multi-layer bindings. Rosewood fingerboard with plastic inlays. Sunburst finish.
