2016 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster
Built to Eric Clapton’s specs, the Fender Custom Clapton Strat features a unique soft V neck carve that’s styled after the artist’s original ‘Blackie’ Strat’s 1957 neck, an active 0-25 dB mid-boost circuit, Vintage Noiseless pickups, and a blocked tremolo bridge. Alder body with black poly finish, TBX tone control, one-piece maple neck with 9.5” radius and vintage/medium fretwire, Kluson tuners, and Clapton’s signature along with the Fender Custom Shop logo on the backside of the headstock.
The neck depth measures .82” at the 1st fret and .93” at the 12th; the nut is 1-5/8”. The guitar weighs in at 8.2 lbs.
This example is in finished in Mercedes Blue, which is a metallic midnight blue/black finish that looks gorgeous. The guitar is in gorgeous condition with only a few very minor dings here and there. The frets show more wear than the crazy-clean finish would suggest, but playability is maximized thanks to our in-store set up. A completely original guitar with no repairs or modifications.
