Based on the Kalamazoo KG-11 model of the 1930s, the Iris SG-11 features the truncated body and familiar sunburst and firestripe looks that define that iconic budget vintage flattop. Iris has evolved on the KG-11 blueprint with their SG-11, and has added X bracing, a truss-rod, and full body bindings to the recipe. The result is a fabulously playable and great sounding small-sized flat top that’s a knock-it-out-of-the-park next-level reimagination of a classic.
Spruce and mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, ivoroid bindings, sunburst lacquer finish, firestripe pickguard, and open-geared tuners. Small rectangle bridge, bone nut and saddle.
Rounded neck carve with a nut width of 1-3/4”. 24.75” scale, 2-1/4” string spread at the bridge.
With hardshell case
