2017 National RM1
The National RM1 is an excellent alternative for mandolin players looking to add another sound option to their instrument toolbox. It's a powerful resonator mandolin that offers a wonderful touch sensitivity and lots of warmth, plenty of overtone development and excellent string balance; as well as the attention to finish detail we've come to expect from National Resophonic. The figured maple top, Art-Deco cast tailpiece and ivoroid neck binding really make this mandolin stand out in the looks department as well.
9.5" hand spun resonator and fully compensated saddle, walnut back and rims, figured maple top, maple biscuit, ebony fingerboard, 1-1/4" bone nut, 14" scale and Gotoh open gear tuners.
This example is excellent condition and shows very light wear. Set-up in shop; playability is as-new.
