2017 Gibson L-00 Standard
A modern recreation of one of Gibson’s most iconic models, the L-00 Standard features the classic 14 fret L-00 body shape, small rectangle bridge, single-ply white bindings and simple ring rosette of the original late 30’s L-00s, and adds modern player touches like an LR Baggs Element VT pickup, Grover tuning machines, scalloped tone bars, and a 2-3/16” string spacing at the bridge. The neck features a 1-3/4” nut width and 24.75” scale. Depth at 1st fret is .814”.
The guitar is a particularly good sounding modern Gibson, with an open and warm voice and classic L-00 punch. It’s in lovely condition and shows minimal fretwear and almost no playwear to the finish. The only flaw we could find is a tiny check in the grain of the back near the bottom of the guitar.
