Martin's D-35 received a significant overhaul in 2018. Beyond the obvious cosmetic changes, the D-35 now features forward shifted bracing to add even more bass response and warmth to this most-popular model. With its ΒΌβ wide braces, the D-35 is already one of the most lightly braced guitars in the lineup, but shifting the X closer to the soundhole accentuates the lightness, and brings even more low end presence to the instrument. The D-35 is the quintessential strumming guitar, and the perfect choice for backing up voice. Fingerpickers will enjoy its mellow expressiveness.
Indian rosewood three piece back and sides, Sitka spruce top with forward shifted straight bracing, mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, 25.4β scale, 1-3/4β nut, and modified low oval carve. Antique white bindings with multi-stripe purflings, bevelled tortoise-celluloid pickguard, vintage toned high gloss lacquer finish. Old style CF Martin headstock logo, Grover tuners, and bone nut and saddle.
