Martin OME Cherry
Introduced in 2018, the OME Cherry is entirely built with FSC Certified woods, and marries tastefully simple appointments with time-tested designs.
Cherry is a wonderful tonewood, with much of the clarity and focus of maple, but with more of mahogany's warmth and openness. It is an excellent back and side wood choice for an OM, and particularly so when married to a scalloped-braced top as it is with the OME Cherry.
The guitar features a very simple but attractive tortoiseshell celluloid rosette, which is set off gorgeously by the ebony fingerboard's side bindings. Tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, antique white bindings, gloss-finished top, satin sides and back, old-style headstock logo, and vintage style open-geared Gold tuning machines. Equipped with Fishman's Matrix VT Enhance onboard electronics, the guitar is stage ready, too.
High performance taper neck with modified low oval carve, 25.4” scale and 1-3/4” nut.
