Introduced in mid-year 2016, the current 00-18 model features the same design and trimmings as its ever-popular bigger sibling, the 000-18, and a markedly lower price tag than the 00-18V that it replaced at that time. It's a wonderfully designed guitar, and one that has become a crowd favourite here at Folkway.
00-sized body with scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Bound in tortoise celluloid, trimmed with vintage style 18 appointments, and finished with a vintage gloss lacquer, the 00-18 is a great looking guitar. Ebony fingerboard and 30's profile bridge, performing artist taper neck with 1-3/4" width at the nut, 24.9" scale, and 2-5/32" string spread at the bridge.
