2006 Larrivée L-09 Lacewood
With a tone that bridges mahogany and maple, lacewood has a woody voice and a hint of compression, which makes it a wonderful choice for a fingerstyle guitar like Larrivée’s venerable L-09. Beyond that, it looks incredible cool. Quartersawn lacewood has an amazing quarterflower pattern that’s quite stunning, and this L-09 was built with some seriously quartersawn wood!
Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, 1-3/4” nutwidth, 25.5” scale. Gloss finish, maple bindings, and tortoise pickguard. After-market Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been carefully set up here at Folkway. No cracks, repairs, or issues.
