2018 Weber Fern F14-F

The F14-F is Weber’s most traditionally designed F-5 mandolin. It features a carved Adirondack spruce top with tone bar bracing, highly flamed maple back and sides, Fern headstock inlay, and gloss sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard and headstock with matching body bindings, gold tuners with pearl buttons, bound ebony pickguard with cut-away, and gold James tailpiece.

An attractive mandolin that’s in gorgeous condition. It’s entirely original but for an added scoop to the fretboard extension, and the set up and frets are perfect. It has a strong voice with robust mids and thick trebles, nice chop, and great sustain.

1-1/8” nutwidth, radiused fretboard, double-action truss rod, U-shaped neck carve. Adjustable ebony bridge, 14” scale.
