Late 90's Mesa Boogie Blue Angel
The 1x12 Mesa Boogie Blue Angel is a USA-built combo featuring Mesa's 'Progressive Linkage' power section that combines 6V6 and Quad-matched EL-84s for the best of what both tube designs offer to tone. The amp's power section can be switched between the 6V6 and EL84 tubes for 15, 34, or 38 watts of Class A power -- and the wholly different sounds that each offer.
This amp is in excellent working order, and really does sound great. The speaker has been replaced with a Jensen C12K, and the 6V6 tubes are replacement Tung-Sols. The amp features normal and low inputs, bright and fat switching, spring reverb, and a parallel fx loop. Speaker outputs for 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets.
