Collings C10SB Custom

The Collings C10 takes its inspiration from the Depression-era L-00s that have become so highly coveted by roots and blues musicians all over. With its slightly smaller and curvier body than an OM and extra depth, the C10 has a precise, focused response and a lovely mid-range presence. Its tone is round and full, and the treble strings have a strong pop and fullness. The neck is carved round and full, and is among the most comfortable neck profiles we've encountered on a new instrument.

A custom Collings C10, this instrument was ordered with a sunburst finished top, 24-7/8' short scale neck, 1-3/4' nut width, and nickel Waverly tuning machines. Sitka spruce top, South American mahogany back and sides, scalloped pre-war bracing, ivoroid body bindings and matching rosette, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, gloss lacquer finish.
