1958 Harmony H48 Stratotone Mercury
An amazingly clean, first-year-issue 1958 Harmony H48 Stratotone Mercury with its original case. We've never seen one quite this early – the pickup dates June 1958 – and its headstock sports the earlier all-white long-tail logo. Better yet, the guitar is in perfect playing order, with level frets and some top-tier set-up work done here. Playability is excellent from the nut to the last fret.
The H48 sports a natural finish over figured maple, a tortoise celluloid pickguard, single DeArmond goldfoil pickup and a bound rosewood fingerboard.
The guitar is pretty much void in playwear. The frets show very little wear, and its finish is gorgeous.
Thick, big and clear Goldfoil tone, great neck and frets, beautiful looks, and collector-grade condition. This one is about as good as they get.
