1961 Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary
With its playworn Smoke Green two-tone finish, after-market Bigsby tailpiece and roller bridge, upgraded tuning machines, and killer vibe this 1961 Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary model is a perfect player-grade vintage Gretsch. It's worn in all the right ways, and plays well despite some moderate-to-heavy fret wear on replaced frets.
HiLo'Tron pickups, tone-bar braced 16” hollow body, non-original bridge and base, replacement Gretsch-branded Bigsby tailpiece, and TV Jones riser ring added to the bridge pickup surround. The guitar's original finish is heavily worn, with plenty of flaking and lacquer crazing on the body and neck, and it looks great. Original knobs, strap buttons, and pickuguard. Original wire harness but the bridge pickup has been replaced with an identical 1960 HiLo'tron that we had in stock as the original wasn't working.
D-carve neck with 1-11/16” nutwidth and 24.5” scale.
With hardshell case
