1970s Pan Trini Lopez
Built by Matsumoku (Aria) in the early 1970's this PAN hollowbody is stylistically inspired by Gibson's Trini Lopez, and features similar diamond shaped F holes and Firebird-like headstock. It's a very cool looking guitar, and is in remarkably good condition.
Fully hollow thin-body electric with staple-pole humbuckers, Bigsby-esque vibrola tailpiece, classic Gibson circuitry and bolt-on neck. Scale is 24-3/4, nut measures 1-9/16”. Burgundy finish with multi-line purflings and cream bindings, black 4 ply pickguard and bound rosewood fingerboard.
A completely original guitar that's been beautifully set-up here at Folkway. Original frets are in excellent shape; excellent playability. Extra points for coolness.
