c.1969 Kimberly Apollo

Swingin' 60's department store style at its best! Kimberly Guitars were made in Japan by Kawai / Teisco to be sold mostly through Lafayette stores in North America. This Apollo model crams four great sounding gold-foil pickups on a wild, twin horned body, finished in a far-out green sunburst. A huge trem arm and a forest of knobs and switches complete the cool factor. A previously repaired crack in the neck-pocket is stable. Lovingly set-up in our shop, the guitar plays well with low action.

Roundish Fender feeling neck with a 24 3/4" scale length and 1 5/8" nut width.
