1967 Gretsch Country Gent
Serial # 87423. Pots dated 1966, serial number dated August 1967. A beautiful one owner 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman with Filter'tron pickups, Bigsby vibrato, painted F-holes, and gold hardware. Apart from the beginnings of binding rot in a few places on the body edges and a replaced felt pad on the string mute, the guitar is completely original and in excellent condition. Neck angle and frets are good, allowing us to set the guitar up nicely here at Folkway. Some finish wear on the neck, but little wear on the rest of the guitar. Electronics work perfectly, and the guitar is a joy to play.
Classic round neck feel, 1-11/16" nut, short 24.5" scale. It's a guitar that doesn't fight you back at all!
