2011 Gibson 1954 Les Paul Custom B4 Reissue
Gibson's '54 Les Paul Custom was one of the iconic electing guitars that ushered in the modern era of music in the mid-1950's. With its black finish, Tune-o-Matic adjustable bridge, staple-pole Alnico pickup and bridge P-90, the '54 Les Paul Custom offered players a stylish and great-sounding new guitar option.
This example, built a few years back, is a relatively rare Les Paul model. The R4 was built in limited numbers, and are hard to come by these days. We love the guitar, with its gold Bigsby, unique pickup tone, and lightweight all-mahogany body. It's heaven to play, and even better to listen to. The black Les Paul Customs were built without the maple cap of the Standards, and have a darker and warmer voice by comparison. The P-90 brings in some growl and snarl, and the alinico in the neck is jazzy and smooth. Lots of tone options here.
In excellent condition and 100% original. Bumblebee caps, gold hardware, Kluson tuners, vintage frets, and round mid-1950's not-huge neck. 9.1 lbs.
With original hardshell case, COA and factory tags
