2016 Taylor 710e
With its slotted headstock and short-scale design, Taylor's 710e is unique among rosewood Dreadnoughts. It offers a strong, well-balanced, and dark tone with more overtones than a traditional long-scale version. The guitar has nuance when played with a lighter touch, and is a little bit more forgiving thanks to the shorter string length. The slotted headstock adds back some of the tension that the 24-7/8” scale subtracts and is a smart design element as well as a classy touch.
The guitar is in near-new condition and has been set-up here at Folkway.
Indian rosewood with Lutz spruce top and Western Sunburst finish. Koa bindings, unique and gorgeous bias-cut douglas fir purflings, and matching Herringbone-inspired rosette. Weathered brown pickguard, ebony fingerboard and bridge, pearl inlays and ES2 pickup system. Slightly V-shaped neck carve with a nut width of 1-3/4”.
