2012 Luis Feu de Mesquita 'Margaret' Classic Crossover

Another beautiful instrument from luthier Luis Feu de Mesquita, this Crossover features a 16" radiussed fingerboard that will appeal to the steel string player looking to add a nylon stringed guitar to his or her arsenal. The guitar also features an action-adjustable neck, which allows the neck to be raised or lowered by the turn of an Allen wrench nut that fits neatly into a tiny hole in the middle of the 20th fret. It's quite a remarkable bit of engineering, and completely eliminates the need for saddle adjustments.

The guitar itself has Malaysian Blackwood back and sides paired with a Western red cedar top for a focused tone that gives way to some lovely overtones. The comfortable neck joins the body at the 14th fret and the double cutaway allows for access high up the fingerboard. Unlike most classical guitars, the neck also features side dots at the 7th, 12th and 19th frets.

Figured maple binding, asymmetrical Brazilian rosewood bridge with figured maple capped tie block, mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle, Rubner tuners with ebony buttons, ebony fingerboard, 48mm nut, 58mm string spacing at saddle and 650mm scale.
