Vega White Oak 12" Banjo
The Deering-built Vega White Oak 12” open back features a 3 ply white oak tone rim with 24 brackets, renaissance head, no-knot tailpiece, and Deering 5/8” Smile bridge. The neck is also carved from white oak, and features Deering's ingenious "Midnight Maple' fingerboard with acrylic inlays and frailing scoop. The headstock is inlaid with a Consalvi-inspired gryphon and the Vega logo.
Slim neck feel, 1-1/4” width at nut, 26-1/4” scale, flat fingerboard.
The White Oak offers Frailers a real lightweight 12” openback that has a lovely bright tone and distinct note clarity.
