Collings OM2H Cutaway
Custom ordered with a venetian cut-away and a 1-3/4” nut width, this Collings OM2H is a perfect choice for everyone who’s requested we order a few high-end cut-away models from Collings. We’re impressed, and we promise this won’t be the last one we order in (it is admittedly the first).
A great sounding Collings, with lots of expression and openness through the mid range, this OM2H is on the warmer and woodier side of things. It’s controllable and forgiving, but manages to maintain much of the power Collings is famous for while still offering the sensitivity of a lightly made OM.
Sitka spruce and rosewood, herringbone trimmings, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Waverly tuners. 1-3/4” nut, 2-3/16” spread at the bridge, 25.4” scale.
