Taylor’s American Dream AD-17e Blacktop features a V-Class braced Sitka top and ovangkol back and sides, blacktop finish with natural back and sides. Strikingly accented by chamfered edges and white/black/white rosette, the AD-17e is a fabulous looking guitar with a whole lot of style to back up its great tone.
Ovangkol imparts a rosewood-like warmth and sparkle, while the guitar’s V-Class bracing and Sitka add punch and mid-range presence. All together, the AD-17e offers a forward and rootsy tone that’s perfect for strumming, single-note bass runs, and chordal melodies.
1-3/4” nutwidth, 25.5” scale. Round, full-feeling neck carve. Sixteen inch body width, and dreadnought depth, thin 2mil satin finish, and ES2 on board electronics.
