The Grand Pacific Taylor 117e features a slope shouldered dreadnought body equipped with a C-class braced torrefied spruce top, layered sapele back and sides, and black bindings. The maple neck has a eucalyptus or ebony fretboard, depending on availability, and matching bridge. ES2 pickup system on board for stage-readiness. 1-11/16” nut, 25.5” scale.
A shop favorite, especially when considering the surprisingly affordable price point, the Taylor 117e has a lovely bass response, plenty of volume and sustain, and clean fundamental in the mids. It’s a great strummer and singing companion.
